Beds cleaned out, mulch down, edges cut in
Mulch does more than look good. It holds moisture through a Texas summer, keeps the soil cooler, and stops most weeds before they start. Two to three inches, topped up once a year, is what most beds here need.
- Old mulch and debris cleaned out
- Weeds pulled and bed weed treatment applied
- Fresh mulch installed to the right depth
- Clean edge cut between bed and lawn
- Mess blown off, nothing left on the driveway
Best time: late winter or early spring, before the heat. We mostly do mulch in the off season when the mowing route is quiet.
Pick what the beds need
Bed cleanup
Leaves, dead growth and weeds out. Edges re-cut. Good on its own before spring.
Fresh mulch
Cleanup plus new mulch installed and raked level. Colour and type to suit the house.
Bed weed treatment
Pre-emergent in the beds so the mulch stays clean. Can be added to your lawn program.

Mulch questions
How much mulch do I need?
Two to three inches over the bed. If there's old mulch down we top it up rather than start over. We measure the beds when we quote.
What kind of mulch do you use?
Hardwood or cedar in natural, brown or black. Tell us what the house suits and we'll bring it.
When's the best time to do it?
Late winter or early spring, before the heat and before the spring weeds get going.
Can you do it with my mowing?
Yes. Most customers book mulch as a once-a-year add-on to their mowing or fertilization program.
